Entry Requirement

• Possess a recognized Master’s Degree or its equivalent.

• Possess at least 5 years of professional experience in the field of specialization the Doctoral Degree is applied for.

• Individuals without a Master's Degree have the option to gain admission through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), provided they have a minimum of 15 years of professional experience in the specific field of specialization relevant to the Doctoral Degree they are applying for. 
  (Note: RPL applicants are required to pay a USD 500 assessment fee.)

Session 1: Research Workshop - Preparing Your Research Proposal

After enrolling in the DBA Degree program, you’ll be invited to a 3-day Doctorate Research Workshop. This workshop will help you start your research by covering:

• Chapter One: Introduction

• Chapter Two: Literature Review

• Chapter Three: Research Methodology

Session 2: Research Proposal Revision Workshop and Defense

Four months after Workshop 1, you’ll attend a 2-day Research Proposal Revision Workshop.

• Day 1: Revision for Research Proposal
  You’ll revise your Research Proposal with guidance, ensuring you're ready for your defense.

• Day 2: Research Proposal Defense
  You’ll present and defend your Research Proposal.

Session 3: Research Workshop – Completing Your Final Research

After successfully defending your Research Proposal, you will join a 3-day Research Workshop 2, which covers:

• Chapter Four: Data Analysis

• Chapter Five: Conclusion and Recommendations

Session 4: Dissertation Revision Workshop

Four months after Workshop 2, you’ll participate in a 2-day Dissertation Revision Workshop. You’ll share your research progress, receive feedback from our Research Professors, and get advice on improving your final dissertation.

Session 5: Viva Voce Presentation

After your dissertation is completed and approved by your Research Supervisor, you will present your research to a panel of three evaluators. The evaluators will ask questions about your research findings and evaluate your presentation. Based on their assessment, they may provide one of the following decisions:  

• Approve your dissertation with minor corrections

• Approve your dissertation with major corrections

• Advise you to revise, resubmit, and defend your dissertation again

Note: All Research Sessions will be held in either Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, or Penang.

TIMES Premier DBA students are encouraged to participate in the PhD Colloquium organized by the Malaysia University of Science and Technology (MUST). The EIU-Paris Doctorate Degree tuition fee is USD6,900-00.

We offer two payment plans for the doctorate tuition fee:
